Chua-Chin Wang

Chua-Chin Wang was born in Taiwan in 1962. He received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from National Taiwan University in 1984, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from State University of New York in Stony Brook in 1988 and 1992, respectively. In 1992 he joined the Department of Electrical Engineering, National Sun Yat-Sen University, Taiwan, and is currently a professor. His recent research interests include VLSI design, low-power and high-speed logic circuit design, neural networks, and wireless communication. He is also a senior member of IEEE.


Lab Introduction

The research area of VLSI Design Lab. including analog IC, digital IC, mixed-signal IC, and wireless communication circuits. The main applications including digital TV receiver, display controller, implantable biomedical chip system, and car electronics. To enhance undergraduate students' motivation and interest in chip design capabilities, and to implement research projects commissioned by the government and industry are the primary tasks in our lab.
