Chih-Hsien Hsia (M10) was born in Taipei city, Taiwan, in 1979. He received the M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering and the Ph.D. degree from Tamkang University, New Taipei, Taiwan, in 2005 and 2010, respectively.
He was a Visiting Scholar with Iowa State University, Ames, IA, United State, in 2007. From 2010 to 2013, he was a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow with the Department of Electrical Engineering, National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, Taipei, Taiwan. He joined the faculty member of the Department of Electrical Engineering at Tamkeng University, from 2010 to 2013 as an Adjunct Associate Professor. He currently is an Associate Professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering, Chinese Culture University, Taipei, Taiwan. His research interests include DSP IC design, image/video compression system, multimedia signal processing, and computer/robot vision processing.
Dr. Hsia is a member of the IEEE, and he is a member of the Phi Tau Phi scholastic honor society. He has served as a Guest Editor of special issues for Journal of Applied Science and Engineering. He serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Control Science and Engineering.
