Jiwu Huang
Dr. Jiwu Huang received his B.S degree from Xidian University, China, in 1982, M.S degree from Tsinghua University, China, in 1987, and Ph.D. from Chinese Academy of Science in 1998. He is currently a professor of the School of Information Science and Technology, Sun Yat-sen University, China.
His current research interests include multimedia forensics and security. He has published more than 200 papers as co-author. He holds more than 50 China invention patents on multimedia security, with 30 authorized.
He received the China National Funds for Distinguished Young Scientists form NSF of China in 2003. He received the first-grade award in science research from the National Ministry of Education, China, in 2004 and 2012. He and his students won the best student paper award from 8th International Workshop on Digital Watermarking (Pusan, Korea) in 2008, best student paper nominated in IEEE ICIP 2011.
He has served as a member of IFS TC (SPS) since 2012 and MSA TC (CASS) since 2002. He served as general co-chair of 8th International Workshop on Digital Watermarking (Guangzhou, 2007) and 2013 IEEE International Workshop on Information Forensics and Security.
He is an associate editor of IEEE Trans. on Information Forensics and Security (2010.8~).
