Lab Introduction

The Key Laboratory of Cognitive Computing and Applications in Tianjin University is one of the institutes of the School of Computer Science and Technology. As we know, communication using speech production and speech perception is one of the basic ways for human to exchange information. Fully understanding such mechanisms of human and realizing them by a computer are the research goal of our laboratory. In order to do so, we focus on following topics as the research theme of our laboratory: speech production mechanisms and their modeling, speech cognitive science, speech communication within the brain.
