Prof Yue Xian Zou

Prof Yue Xian Zou received her PhD degree from The University of Hong Kong. She is currently the Professor in the School of Electronic and Computer Engineering in Peking University and the Director of the Peking University Advanced Digital Signal Processing Lab. Prof. Zou was a research assistant in Singapore Polytechnic, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China. In recent years, Prof. Zou has been collaborating closely with domestic and foreign scholars, to apply advanced signal processing methods in intelligent perception of hearing technology, Analog-to-Digital Converting problem and pattern recognition and machine learning domain.


Lab Introduction

The research in ADSPLAB has three main streams:
Intelligent perception of hearing technology, including:
Sound source location based on single and multiple Sensors
Speech enhancement and noise reduction
Speech recognition in noisy environment
Audio monitoring in natural environment
Analog-to-Digital Converting/Digital-to-Analog Converting technology, including:
High-speed Time-interleaved Analog-to-Digital Converter (TIADC)
High-speed bandpass sampling technology
Pattern recognition and machine learning, including:
Theory on un-supervised feature learning and classification
Speaker identification technology
Vehicle type recognition technology
Biology Image classification technology
