In 2006, he received a Ph.D. degree from Dept. Computer Science and Information Engineering at National Chung-Cheng University, Chiayi. After graduated, he servered in Advanced Technology Center of Industrial Technology Research Institute of Taiwan (ITRI) from 2007 to 2009. Then, he joined the Institute of Information Science (IIS), Academia Sinica, as a postdoctoral fellow. Currently, he is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering, Asia University. His research interests include computer vision, digital rights management, image processing, and data mining.

Lab Introduction

Our current research mainly focuses on network security, computer vision, video surveillance, image processing, watermarking, steganography, cryptography, data engineering, and data mining.

We have considerable experience of research work and have published a lot of research papers in the world. Currently, we have five professors in our group and cooperate with each other. Our research orientation focuses not only on theoretical investigation but also practical usage. In order to meet the industrial¡¦s needs, our research is scheduled as: short-term research and long-term research orientations.

The short-term research focuses on basic technologies of digital signal processing and security. That would build up a good foundation for advanced analysis. The long-term research focuses on interdisciplinary integration of technology, finding better solutions for both academic and industrial communities. This would benefit students to get jobs and to develop their own research ability.
