Lab Director (or Principal Investigator)

Dah-Chung Chang received the B.S. degree in electronic engineering from Fu-Jen Catholic University,
Taipei, in 1991 and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from National Chiao Tung University, Hsinchu, in 1993 and 1998, respectively. In 1998 he joined Computer and Communications Research Laboratories at Industrial Technology Research Institute, Hsinchu. Since 2003, he has been a faculty member in the department of communication engineering at National Central University. His recent research interests include multirate and adaptive digital signal processing, multi-antenna and MIMO communications, and digital
transceiver algorithm and architecture design.

Lab Introduction

Our Lab. was established at the Department of Communication Engineering, National Central University, Taiwan in 2003. Our present research interest mainly targets at 4G LTE-A PHY MIMO detection, OFDM/OFDMA channel estimation/synchronization algorithms, adaptive signal processing for RF imperfections, and linear/nonlinear filtering methods for WSN and mobile targets localization and tracking. We may give training courses on FPGA circuit implementation, however, the circuit design is optional to algorithm study in our present interest. We welcome your visiting and stay if you are interested in broad communication and signal processing fields.
