Dr. Feng-Tsun Chien received the B.S. degree from National Tsing Hua University (NTHU) in 1995, the M.S. degree from National Taiwan University (NTU) in 1997, and the Ph.D. degree from University of Southern California (USC), Los Angeles, in 2004, all in Electrical Engineering. He joined the Department of Electronics Engineering of National Chiao Tung University (NCTU), Hsinchu, in 2005, as an Assistant Professor. His current research interests include communication systems designs, statistical signal processing and game theoretic resource allocation.

We are currently interested in the following research topics:

1. Game theory and its applications on wireless communications and social networks
2. Deep learning algorithms on computer vision applications
3. Evolutionary optimization theory
