Lab Director (or Principal Investigator)

Keng-Hao Liu received the B.S. degree in Mathematics of Science from National Chengchi University, Taipei, Taiwan, in 2003. He then received the M.S. and Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC), USA, in 2009 and 2011, respectively. He is an assistant professor at Department of Mechanical and Electro-Mechanical Engineering, National Sun Yat-sen University (NSYSU), Kaoshiung, Taiwan. Before joining NSYSU, he was a research assistant in Patient Safety Group, Shock Trauma Center, University of Maryland Medical Center from 2009 to 2011. He then worked as a postdoctoral fellow at Institute of Information Science, Academia Sinica, Taipei, Taiwan, where he was awarded the Academia Sinica Postdoctoral Fellowship 2nd Session, 2012. He was an adjunct assistant professor at Department of Computer Science and Information Enginnering, National Ilan University, for 1st semester, 2013.

Dr.Liu's research interests include hyperspectral image processing, remote sensing image analysis, pattern recognition, computer vision, and machine learning.
