Lab Introduction

Our primary goal is to provide solutions to the security, privacy, reliability, trust, and performance problems of complex network and system environments. We build and deliver excellence in research and commercial outcomes. NSCLab aspires to be one of the world class research labs in network and system security.
NSCLab has the following research areas where we have a genuine opportunity to develop collaborative partnerships with different organisations and industries: traffic classification, malware classification, malware modelling, IP traceback, trusted computing, authentication.
Currently NSCLab is funded by projects from the Australian Research Council (ARC), Deakin University, and our industry partners. We have a team of talented PhD students and research fellows who have published our research outcomes in high quality journals and conferences.
