Tsung-Chuan Huang received his B. S. degree in engineering science from National Cheng-Kung University, Taiwan, in 1975. After completing military service, he joined Tatung Fujitsu Co. as a system engineer for three years. From January, 1980, he was a teaching assistant at Department of Engineering Science, National Cheng-Kung University, until he received the M. S. degree in 1982. Since then, he became a lecturer at Department of Electrical Engineering, National Sun Yat-Sen University, until he received his Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from National Cheng-Kung University, in 1989. From August, 1993 to 1994, he visited Center for Supercomputing Research and Development, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, as a visting scholar. Dr. Huang is currently a Professor of Department of Electrical Engineering, National Sun Yat-Sen University, Taiwan, R. O. C. His research interests include parallelizing compiler, high performance computer architectures, parallel processing, algorithm, wireless, mobile and ad hoc networks.

Lab Introduction

Focusing on the development of wireless networks, covering 802.11 and various wireless network technology like Bluetooth. Coming up with in-depth debates and simulation experiments by putting ad hoc network as the core to our discussion. By having a conducive research environment which has the necessary software and hardware equipments, coupled with positive learning spirit, will encourage more diverse thoughts and spur students to have more creative research topics
