Professor Wei-Yang Lin received BSEE from National Sun Yat-sen University, Taiwan, in 1994. He received MSEE and PhD degrees from University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2004, and 2006, respectively. Since 2006, he has been with the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering, National Chung Cheng University, Taiwan, where he is currently an Associate Professor. His research interests include computer vision, biometric authentication, and multimedia signal processing.

We are working on various multimedia signal processing subjects. Some of our on-going research projects are listed below:

- Computer-aided diagnosis system for retinal images
- Human action recognition
- Manifold learning
- Multimodal registration of retinal images
- Tensor decomposition and its application in pattern recognition
